Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a global consulting firm to find a Secret cleared Graphic Designer to work in Arlington, VA. As the Graphic Designer you will work on a dynamic team in a fast-paced client environment to develop compelling visual communications in support of technical Department of Defense initiatives. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Translate conversations, documents, or presentations into text and digital graphics.
- Identify key ideas, synthesize them, and document them in visual form.
- Produce graphic designs and visuals for a variety of purposes, including client briefings and representations of stakeholder experiences.
- Work across teams and high-ranking personnel, building knowledge of diverse capabilities and components of the work, to tell stories visually.
Graphic Designer Qualifications:
- Secret clearance required
- 5 years of experience with graphic design and recording in a professional work environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work with Adobe Suite creative apps, including InDesign and Illustrator
- Ability to think creatively, synthesize information, and communicate clearly
- Ability to support client and team design needs on site and virtually
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with working on a large Department of Defense staff (as active-duty military, civilian, or contractor)
- Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint to develop compelling communications products, including briefings, reports, fact sheets, and infographics
- Experience interacting with senior-level clients
- Experience with design thinking or human centered design
- Knowledge of Enterprise IT Transformation
