Summary
The Graphic Designer, under the direction of the Executive Director, Brand Creative & Communications, is responsible for the execution of visual materials for integrated marketing and communications efforts. In conjunction with the Senior Graphic Designer, this core teammate will develop effective designs for a variety of audiences and channels. Hybrid role split between three in-office days and two WFH. Throughout the production process, incumbent will have opportunities to serve as the main point of contact for projects, delivering on time and on target while focusing on the associated elements that serve to elevate brand storytelling at every touchpoint.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Team-first attitude, with demonstrated experience in matrix-style environment
2. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
3. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Journalism, or related field
4. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in graphic design
5. 1 to 3 years of digital storytelling experience
6. Retail, education, in-house brand, and/or agency experience
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills with superb attention to detail
8. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
9. Content creation and quality assurance experience
10. Relentlessly conceptual thinking at both the conceptual and executional level
11. Progressive production history; thrives in fast-paced organizations
Preferred Qualifications
1. A combination of B2C and B2B experience
2. Demonstrated success at a large brand, startup experience, and/or as a freelancer
3. Proficiency with editorial-style productions (crossover interest in copywriting)
4. Social media expertise (including video and/or photo)
5. Adept at asset management
