Sunshine Charity Hiring for Graphic Designer needed for new loneliness charity (VOLUNTEER) Job at Remote Full Time

We are a small charity trying to make a big difference!

We are the SUNSHINE Charity (charity no: 1194323), a new charity with a key focus on tackling loneliness and bringing ‘sunshine’ into peoples lives by providing key services that bring human connection to those experiencing loneliness and social isolation.

Our core services include;

• Befriending Service
• Health and Wellbeing Programmes
• Community Based Activities (including Social and Support Groups)

We have some real exciting times ahead as our very new and small but ambitious charity expands and grows, we have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline and a number of exciting opportunities coming our way in 2023, as well as opening new bases of operations across London and we are in real need of committed and dedicated volunteers who can come on our journey with us and help us make a real difference to peoples lives.

We are looking for volunteers who can support the work of the Sunshine Charity, working to design us some much needed items to help us promote the charity and get us visible and on the map.

We are currently in need of the following designs to be completed within the next few month in order of priority;

• Branding/Visual Identity Change and Guidelines (to give us an updated modern feel to our posters, social media posts and so forth, while keeping our current logo as it is).
• Social Media Posts (to provide information on the charity and to increase online engagement).
• Annual Report (to present to the public on the charities annual activities).
• Guide Booklet (for people to find out more about our charity).
• Business Stationery (Letterhead, Compliment Slips and Business Cards for us to use when communicating externally).
• Welcome Booklet (for all new Volunteers joining the charity).
• Poster and Flyer (for the Sunshine Charity to promote our charity and services to those who need our services and support).
• Branded Marketing Photo Images (for the walls of our new base coming soon).
• Internal Posters (to put on the walls, Org Chart, Our Promise, Our Brand, Safeguarding Flowchart, etc).

This volunteer role is remote/home based and you will need your own software and computer to help us create the designs above and have a good understanding of creating a happy, vibrant, positive and yellow bright brand identity for us.

The Sunshine Charity was born out of love, and a passion to make change based on the lived experiences of the Founder’s sister, who has been living with Cerebral Palsy all of her life; the loneliness and social isolation that both the physical and mental disability has caused her, the lack of friendship and the inability to do things for herself, as well as the lack of compassion and care within the health and social care system to understand her needs and to take action or to even make her feel like a human, has led to her feeling in total darkness, suicidal and wishing to end her life.
