Summary:
The construction coordinator is responsible for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects as well as administrative quality control of jobs
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage & Track Milestones
- Create jobs in JT/Polaris
- Issue Jobs to design
- Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris
- Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs
- Liaise with Stakeholders
- Point of contact for all internal comcast cross functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
- Provide reporting for next level management
- Create and approve funding request
- Material management and reconciliation
- Research contracts and agreements
- Manage funding request/purchase order
- Responsible for job estimate(finance)
- Manage and Analyze Quality control Flow
- Manage quality control workflow
- Validate that the field quality control is performed
- Pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports
- Interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed
- Conduct admin and Milestone Quality Control
- Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages)
- Validate permit is closed
- Final invoice milestone is set
- Ensure all milestones are updated
- Close jobs
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• P2 –
o Creating/verifying estimates along with field Coordinator
o Review and Approve estimate to ensure they meet SOW
o Review applications and plan out Mux/Node installation to have estimates completed before work started.
o Maintain PO’s amount and ensure all invoices are linked and approved daily
• Work with management on monthly forecast & budget to identify risks around miles, dollars & passings.
• Review ACAD (AutoCAD) drawings to understand node/mux/PS locations.
• Update KMZ with aerial and underground applications to ensure correct priority is given.
• Working along with field coordinator and utilizing ACAD & KMZ to ensure contingencies are updated.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to ensure customer outreach is scheduled.
• Create & update trackers with milestones (Critical Path Matrix & Master Tracker).
• Daily attention on forecasted and actual passings date & totals (Both Serviceable and Constructed).
• Field Coordinator and PM to review KMZ/AutoCad to planned schedule.
• Host calls with vendors and third party utilities to ensure movement.
• Reviews utility invoices and ensure approvals are completed in a timely manner.
• Identify & monitor Make Ready process ensuring that each utility is completing the MRC within proper sequence time.
