The Judge Group Looking for Occupational Health Nurse LVN at Camden, AR Full Time

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Performs pre-placement, DOT and Public Safety employee pre-employment nursing assessment (vitals, vision, hearing, immunizations, TST, etc.,) periodic nursing exams, reviews respirator clearance form in conjunction with MD, administers EKG’s testing, hearing assessment via audiometry screening, PPD/TST, and other necessary testing as required by this position. 
• Provides initial and subsequent comprehensive or episodic health assessments of employees with chronic illnesses &/or an occupational injury identified within a disease management or wellness program.
• Maintains proper follow-up case/care management of occupational and non-occupational care.
• Responsible for collecting specimens and routine laboratory tests such as: urine drug screens, sputum samples, fasting cholesterol and glucose (blood), and other cultures/specimens.
• Administers immunizations and other procedures that are within the scope of practice of the incumbent’s level of training and licensure as set forth in the protocols approved by the Medical Director.
• Maintains accurate, HIPAA compliant employee medical charts, data entry, and monthly reports. Follows current Universal Precautions and Infection Control techniques.
• Maintains necessary license for position; ensuring continuing education credits are met. 
• Receives and maintains the necessary certifications to work within the Occupational Clinic (CDL BAT/UDS; Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC); Spirometry, etc.)
• Authors professional medical/preventive content for various communications (e-mails, telephone, published documents, in-person, etc.)
• Establishes and maintains professional communication and a team atmosphere with the medical director and all other staff. 
• Attends required County meetings and continuing education programs as required for employment and nursing license. 
• Provides one-on-one and group health coaching/education regarding healthy lifestyle choices (exercise, nutrition, stress, etc.) and proper preventive medical care, and basic medical benefits information to employees and dependents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Registration in Nursing and two (2-3) years of related experience. 
• State Registration is required. 
• Basic Life Support – CPR/AED. 
• Certifications in at least 2 of the following: Occupational Hearing Conservation , DOT urine drug collection and NIOSH spirometry. 
• Performing/Administering Medical Surveillance programs per OSHA or company standards, including scheduling and performance of required screenings, data review. 
• Must have a Valid AR license 
• Desired: 
• Certifications in Occupational Health, Audiology, and Certification in DOT urine drug collection and Certification in NIOSH spirometry. 
• Certification in CPR/ AED and physically able to perform CPR. 
• Certification as an Instructor for CPR/AED/ First Aid desirable.
