Key Accountabilities:

Contribute to the conceptualization and creation of effective marketing communications, messages and materials in support of NWCI marketing plan.

• Create and refine design solutions for marketing communications print materials, corporate communications and branding materials.
• Create materials in support of marketing and communication activities for selling events, store openings/renovations, sponsorships and ensure all align with each banners marketing calendar.
• Ensure consistency and effectiveness in all designs to established and maintain brand standards as well as final art reflects production specifications
• Adhere to timelines, delivering creative that is on brief, free of errors and reflects best practices
• Design for all media types including but not limited to flyer, print, web, social, in-store POP
• Design ongoing Facebook and Instagram store messaging and digital marketing materials

Contribute to the design of store marketing programs, corporate communications and new store designs

• Participate in project planning to understand project and design requirements.
• Work with Production Manager to support SDT/Merchandising/Facilities design requirements to ensure consistency and execution of all programs/projects
• Ensure design projects align with NWCI overall initiatives

Design new collateral approaches and strategies to improve customer communications

• Identify competitors and industry leader’s best practices
• Propose new tactics to business units
• Participate in staff training programs and workshops
• Demonstrate customer knowledge and understandings

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Graphic design and or advertising arts certification/degree
• 1-2 years computer aided design experience
• Work well in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
• Three or more years marketing experience
• Proficient in In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience working in an advertising environment.
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments while adhering to strict timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.

Working Conditions:

• This is an office position that involves working in a desk on the computer 95% of the time. This role will also attend meetings as required. There are no physical demands to this position.
