We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team in Hickory, NC! This position focuses on creating visually engaging concepts and graphics that promote both marketing activities and internal projects within Utility Solutions.
Job Activities/Responsibilities:
- Illustrates graphics and layouts for marketing materials such as flyers, catalogs, websites, and social media posts
- Collaborates with project management and marketing to deliver graphics, pictures, or videos for new products
- Conceptualizes layouts and graphics based on marketing visions
- Ensures that all final graphics and layouts meet the requirements and expectations of leadership
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops and staying up to date on software changes
- Revises graphics and layouts as necessary based on collaborative feedback from leadership
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Expert working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and Google suite
- 3+ years of graphic design experience
- Photography experience required; Videography experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of layouts and graphic fundamentals
- Eye for creativity and design ability
- Outgoing and self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Self-Confidence and Professionalism
