This is an on-site role in LA.
Pay Range: $30/hr – $35/hr
Looking for a part-time (40hrs/week) Jr. Environmental Graphic Designer. The Jr. Environmental Graphic Designer will work with an architecture design firm. The ideal candidate has anywhere between 1-4 years of experience in signage, has excellent communications skills, and is ready to work for a company that has pioneered a holistic and humane understanding of the relationship between buildings, people, and the environment.
The Jr. Environmental Graphic Designer’s Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of projects from concept through completion.
- Work as project lead with other designers on multi-component marketing and environmental graphics projects design projects for marketing collateral, corporate identity systems, print and digital media, environmental graphics programs and consumer experience environments.
- Research technology / production techniques as necessary.
- Ensure quality control through approval of proofs, press checks, and testing of technology and materials before deployment.
- Interpret client requirements to creatively design customized work and graphics.
The Jr. Environemntal Graphic Designer’s Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or related design, with a minimum of 1 to 4 years of professional experience in the environmental design.
- Strong communication skills, time management, project management, attention to detail, leadership skills.
- Expertise in graphic tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- 3D experience is a PLUS.
